No headphones are necessary- even a baby can safely listen using the built-in speaker. Ultra-simple controls and a durable rubber exterior are made for little hands.

Parental Controls

Access the special settings menu by simultaneously pressing the Left and Right buttons for 6 seconds. This menu sets volume, current playlist and the Automatic Off time

Safety Standards

With each step of development, safety in design and materials has been considered. Third party testing provides additional peace of mind.

The SweetPea3 was initially developed to remove the possible threat to children’s hearing posed by wearing headphones. A quality built-in speaker design makes headphones unnecessary, although they can be used. Hidden volume control adds another level of defence. This was just the start to creating a safe and healthy toy.

The SweetPea3 has been built to RoHS specifications. This European Union initiative restricts the use of six hazardous substances, including lead. Although lead is traditionally used in the manufacture of electronics, RoHS-compliant items do not contain it.

The SweetPea3 has also been tested to and exceeds the requirements of the ASTM F963 Toy Safety Specification. This comprehensive standard covers almost every aspect of a toy’s construction, including sharp edges, flammability, toxicity, choking and strangulation hazards, and labelling problems.
